Homepage Design

The Pottery Barn web experience starts with its homepage, which seeks to establish the brand as the most trusted and inspirational home design source. 

As a major customer entry point and “visual first-impression”, the challenge of designing the PB homepage was staying fresh and seasonally relevant while maintaining a cohesive and compelling visual cadence that laddered up to the larger brand voice.

As the lead homepage designer, I regularly concepted and executed the desktop and mobile experiences. Through the exploration of typography and layout, the incorporation of beautiful crops, imagery, and seasonal videos, and a rejuvenated focus on consistency and templatization, we established stronger creative standards and delivered elevated brand storytelling to inspire and engage Pottery Barn customers.

Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Copy, Inventory, Site Management, and Development, we achieved ou goal in spite of challenges such as technological restraints, tight timelines, inventory shortages, and business-critical strategy pivots.
